Celebration and Awareness Days in April

Through April, we'll be recognising and celebrating the following days:

2^nd April – World Autism Awareness Day. Autism NZ is raising awareness throughout April and organising a national ‘quiet hour’ on Wednesday 10^th April – for resources, information and support: https://autismnz.org.nz/autism-acceptance-month/

10^th April – Eid ul Fitr. The exact date of Eid ul Fitr in New Zealand depends on the sighting of the moon of Shawwal; it is expected to be celebrated on 10 April 2024 in New Zealand.

25^th April – ANZAC Day and public holiday
