Cassandra

Hi, my name is Cassandra and I am an experienced Educator living in the Pukete area.  I have gained a Nanny qualification, worked in preschool centres, and have experience providing care and education for children with special medical needs.

I enjoy providing activities such as art and craft, water play, and sporting games.  I have a large outdoor area that is well resourced for children of all ages to play and challenge themselves. Children can have fun exploring and playing with a wide range of resources and activities indoors as well as visiting local playgroups, music groups, and parks.

Kiley

Kia ora, my name is Kiley. I have been working with children in the ECE sector for over 26 years in a range of setting including nannying, childcare centres, and Kindergarten’s with the Waikato Kindergarten Association. For the past 10 years I have worked as a home based Educator and love being able to focus on quality relationships. I loved having my own children at home and have found a way to continue enjoying the presence of young children in our lives while my children continue to grow.

I enjoy nature and animals and currently have 3 chickens, a pet rat, and a dog, Jett. We live close by to several parks and do lots of regular outings to explore our community, including going to playgroups and mainly music. I look forward to meeting you and your whanau.
Nga mihi.

Nikita

Kia ora, my name is Nikita. I am based in Hamilton East and have been teaching for many years. I have a warm, spacious home and garden, and make regular use of local parks and nature spaces. We attend playgroups when this suits the children and have visits with other Educators/children often. I am dedicated to ensuring all children in my care feel safe, loved and have lots of fun!

Our days usually consist of a lot of free play inside and out, baking or a sensory activity in the morning, I will lead a circle time with songs and playing music if the children are interested (I am learning guitar and piano, both of which the children are also able to play) and we have water play outside in the afternoon.

We make pancakes and go to the Magical bridge playground (just around the corner from my home) on Fridays. After lunch we have a little rest time and will listen to music or I will read stories while the children do some quiet activities if they do not need to sleep.

I ask that you bring a lunch box, but I will provide extra fruit to share and the children also eat any baking they have done on a particular day.

We always make sure to put on sunscreen/hats/shoes before heading outside and I keep the childrens drink bottles readily available where they can access. On hot days I will often make some fruit ice blocks for the children to have in the afternoons, and during winter we often make a fruit tea together to warm us up.

I look forward to meeting you and your wonderful children.
