For Educators
Nurtured at Home™ is a vibrant, growing homebased childcare business.
We are committed to providing quality childcare and education in a nurturing home environment and are seeking Educators to join our supportive team. If you have a genuine interest in the care and wellbeing of children and would like to work from home, either part-time or full-time whilst still being available to your own family, we would love to hear from you.
Providing a quality programme for children in your home begins with quality interactions which are individualised, personalised and responsive to each child. Our fully qualified and registered Visiting Teachers are there to support and guide you to achieve this and will visit your home regularly. We offer an extensive toy library, free resources, weekly play and music groups, Discovery Days, and other community outings and events which can supplement the programme offered in your home. We support you with free professional development learning opportunities, including paid First Aid Certificate and Level 4 Early Childhood Education Certificate. We have two great reimbursement options so that you have the flexibility to choose what would best suit you, along with reimbursements for illness, public holidays, and Christmas closure.

What support do I receive?
Our fully qualified and registered Visiting Teachers are there to provide ongoing guidance and support and will visit your home regularly. We offer free resources including nursery equipment, weekly play and music groups, Discovery Days, and other community outings and events which can supplement the programme offered in your home. We support you with free professional development learning opportunities, including paid First Aid Certificate and Level 4 Early Childhood Education Certificate.

In addition to the range of marketing Nurtured at Home undertakes on behalf of Educators, we provide you with free marketing material so that you can promote yourself within your community.
How will I be reimbursed
We have two great reimbursement options so that you have the flexibility to choose what would best suit you. One option is to choose our fixed rate of reimbursement; with this option, Educators are reimbursed at a higher rate than what a family’s hourly fee is. Another option is for Educators to set their own hourly rate and receive an additional reimbursement from Nurtured at Home. Nurtured at Home helps take care of collection of fees from parents and can guarantee your weekly reimbursement. With both options, Educators also receive reimbursements for illness, public holidays, and Christmas closure (conditions apply).
How many hours would I be expected to work?
Home-based care and education is really flexible and can work in with you and your own family’s requirements. You can choose to work either part-time or full-time and can choose to have between 1 and 4 preschool children (including your own preschool children) at any one time.
If you would like to take time off throughout the year, Nurtured at Home can provide alternative care for your care children during this time.
