Victoria (Whitby)

Kia ora, my name is Victoria and I have over 16 years experience of being a home-based educator as well as having a Bachelor of Teaching (ECE). I have experience with children who have disabilities and provide a completely inclusive environment. I provide an extensive range of activities, resources and experiences, to inspire and guide your young children to develop into positive, confident and capable individuals, as well as forming a strong foundation for their later learning. I aspire to encourage, empower, support and nurture your children emotionally, physically and cognitively, through communication, exploration and play. Providing rich learning and play opportunities within a warm, secure and caring environment, where both children and whānau are able to feel welcome and comfortable is essential to my practice. I strongly believe that family and whānau are central to their child's learning and development, and therefore my aim is to work closely alongside you in a partnership to enhance, supplement and support your child's learning, development and wellbeing. My home is situated in Whitby, Porirua, which is a perfect location for young children. My home has two outdoor areas, a sheltered deck out front and grass area out back, both fully secured and fenced where the children can engage within a variety of different playing and exploration experiences. We also have 3 friendly cats and 2 goldfish. I offer a drop off and pick up service too.
