I have over 13 years' experience a home-based educator, hold a Level 4 Certificate in Early Childhood Practice, a Full Driver Licence and a current First Aid Certificate. I have 2 sons of my own, 1 at College and 1 starting Intermediate next year. I pride myself on developing responsive, reciprocal relationships with children and their families and work with parents to ensure continuity for the children in my care. I place the highest importance on having a safe, warm, nurturing, fun environment with appropriate toys, resources, activities and experiences to support and extend upon the children's individual interests. Throughout the week we enjoy spending time at local parks/bush walks, attending various community events such as music & movement group, several playgroups, Nurtured at Home Discovery Days, and any other interesting, suitable events that may be on offer.
