Kia ora everyone! Im Kristina (Nina), mum of 2 boys and 2 cats - Pickles and Dobby. Outside of being a parent and an Educator, I have a passion for Fitness, Archery and nature where I like to spend my free time keeping fit and shooting targets. Originally from Wainuiomata, now living in the wonderful region of Upper Hutt where my journey of becoming a Home-based Educator began 10+ years ago. It has been a wholesome experience this far having tamariki become a part of our whanau and also being a part of their growth, learning and milestones.
My philosophy is to build strong connections and develop close and meaningful relationships with tamariki and their whanau to enable a solid foundation of support and provide a nurturing environment for the best possible start to their first years in life. I believe every child sets the pace for their own learning and as their kaiako, we don’t just teach them, they teach us! I am always discovering new things and learning through tamariki everyday.
