Kia ora, my name is Kirsty. I live in Whitemans valley with my husband and two children, ages 11 and 21. I am passionate about providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and develop at their own pace. I have a level 5 ECE diploma in home-based care. I have been working as a home-based educator for 9 years now and absolutely love it! I enjoy being able to provide quality care due to the low ratio of home-based care and I enjoy learning about and celebrating other cultures.
I provide a range of activities for children that cater for all ages and stages. Including puzzles, books, pretend play, messy/water play. We are out and about a few mornings, attending regular weekly activities including Music group, gymnastics and nature walks. I work closely with a small group of educators and their care children doing a range of activities together. This provides wonderful opportunities for children to socialise with others, but still within a small group of familiar people.
