Hi, my name is Donna. I live in Titahi Bay and have enjoyed working in home-based childcare for 20 years. I have my Full Driver Licence, First Aid Certificate and Level 4 ECE Certificate. My home is a place where children learn to be respectful of each other, showing manaaki and being kind to each other. We regularly attend playgroups and Library Story World, visit local playgrounds and the local beach. We also like to visit Te Papa and/or Zealandia at least once a term. I provide a good variety of resources including books, puzzles, blocks and pretend play. I have a big backyard which is great for running around, playing ball games and includes a fairy garden and mud kitchen which is always popular, especially when we add water play. I am flexible with times and days of care so please come and meet me so we can have a chat.
