Kia ora! My name is Cheriena and I live in Leamington, Cambridge. I have worked in early childcare education for the last 6 years from birth right up until tamariki aged 6. I have a Full Driver Licence, I have a First Aid Certificate, have my Level 4 qualification in Te Reo Māori and I'm also currently in the process of gaining my Level 4 Early Childhood Education qualification. After welcoming our baby boy into the world in July 2024, joining Nurtured at Home has been the perfect opportunity to do home-based childcare. My cozy home has an abundance of learning resources both inside and out. On sunny days you can find your little adventurer immersed in nature and engaging in meaningful learning experiences outdoors. You can usually find me in the garden, getting crafty, or baking something yummy! I can't wait to get to know what is important to you and your whānau, and what you enjoy doing together!
