Kia ora, my name is Nelly. I’m 35 years old and a proud mother of three beautiful children aged 7, 5 and 3. I am a qualified ECE teacher, I run a loving and nurturing home-based childcare where tamariki are at the heart of everything I do. I engage children in a variety of activities designed to foster their cognitive, social, emotional and physical development through arts and crafts, sensory play, music and movement, math and science, imaginative play and outdoor play.
I believe children are natural learners who thrive when they’re free to explore, imagine, and lead their own learning. I create a calm and safe environment where tamariki feel supported, respected, and empowered to grow in their own unique way.
Here at my home-based centre, I focus on building strong relationships with each child and their whānau. Through play, connection, and care, I help children develop confidence, independence, and a deep love for learning.
Caring for children isn't just a responsibility its a privilege to play a role in shaping their lives and futures. I would love to welcome you and your child into our warm and supportive space.
