Hi! I'm Monica - I have three kids in primary school, and I'm an in-home educator with Nurtured at Home. I love that the little ones we care for become part of our home and hearts for life. I'm located 15 minutes from Taupo Central, off Mapara Road. I have a lovely block of land with a cool forested gully. My home is modern and warm, with an open-plan living area and separate nap rooms. A large, fully fenced area flows naturally from inside, allowing tamariki to explore freely wherever their day takes them. I'm all about curating a space that is loving and safe. Resources are natural and open-ended, inspiring imaginative play. Tamariki are encouraged to connect with nature and each other, grow their independence and gain real-world skills at their own pace. I implement current research on brain development and attachment, as well as the New Zealand ECE curriculum, Te Whāriki.
