I have been working in the child care industry for over 25 years, with experience ranging from nannying and working in early childhood centres to providing in-home care. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a deep understanding of what supports children best—and for me, in-home care offers something truly special. It provides a calm, nurturing environment that really feels like a home away from home.
I offer a warm and welcoming home with excellent indoor-outdoor flow, allowing tamariki to explore, play, and feel comfortable in a relaxed setting.
Outdoors, there is plenty to enjoy—including a trampoline, slide, playhouse, sandpit, and a fun outdoor play kitchen that encourages imaginative and physical play.
Inside, the lounge is thoughtfully set up with accessible toy shelves, allowing children to make independent choices about their play. There are also soft toys, dress-ups, and open-ended resources to spark creativity and support a variety of interests.
I’m passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and homely environment where children feel secure, valued, and free to be themselves.
